Andi James wins round four by over 15 minutes
Andi James is now firm favourite for the title after easily winning round four by over 15 minutes from Kevin Brown in second place.
The result now puts James six points clear at the top of the table, picking up the 12 points for the win. It reaffirms his lead in the championship which was down to just one point after round three as he was penalised for illegally visiting New Cross Gate.
Kevin Brown took second place but was in awe of James' successful tactic over Kensington (Olympia), which caused havoc for all the participants. Brown finished 18 minutes down on James and was "shocked" to hear the results.
Martin "Tangy" Hazel finished third, just three minutes behind Brown. However, the result of fourth place for Peter Smyth put a dent in his championship hopes, as he lost five points to James in the championship but retained his second place.
Fifth place for Andrew Chilcraft showed just how tight the midfield was, as he had the same route as Brown up to a point until he took a different train to Brown and dropped him to fifth. Chilcraft is now 28 points behind James in the championship, having only competed in two rounds of the championship.
Last place for Team Rhys put a dent in their morale, having finished fourth in round three. Their fatal mistake was a massive Bakerloo line double-back up to Kensal Green. They finished over 40 minutes behind James and now lie seventh and eighth in the championship standings.
